STIGA Tornado 5108 W – side discharge

Featuring both side discharge and mulching functions, the adaptable STIGA Tornado 5108 W is just as effective in long, overgrown grass as it is on a well-maintained formal lawn!

In side discharge mode, grass which is too long to mulch is cut and ejected at speed to the tractor’s right, where it will accumulate in tidy rows, before gradually wilting down. In mulching mode, clippings are held under the deck and shredded, before being forced back into the turf by a powerful airflow. They’ll then rot down and vanish, providing the turf with natural nourishment at no additional cost.

The STIGA Tornado 5108 W Lawn Tractor employs a 586 cc STIGA air-cooled four-stroke engine, which, thanks to its V-Twin cylinder arrangement, offers powerful torque with less vibration. The design of the engine also ensures running temperature is minimised and service-life extended.

With a substantial 108 cm twin blade cutting deck and no grass collector to waste time emptying, the Tornado 5108 W is a fast and efficient way to look after a large area.

A washing link makes it quick and easy to remove any dead grass from around the blades and deck area; while long-lasting and energy-efficient headlights provide great forward visibility at any time of day.

There’s no need to stop and change gears with the Tornado 5108 W – instead, the ground-speed, in both forward and reverse, is adjusted via a foot-pedal. This optimises manoeuvrability and ensures you’ll be able to mow around and between obstacles safely and accurately.

Produced with careful attention to driver comfort, this version of the Tornado has been equipped with a raised steering wheel, a STIGA Classic adjustable seat and a handy cup holder. Another key benefit are the extra-large 20” rear wheels – they offer high-grip traction.

This model has a tow hitch available as an optional accessory, that means you’ll be able to work with any of the trailed attachments available for this STIGA lawn tractor.
