The Mountfield SP505R V is a premium self-propelled roller lawnmower perfect for laying down those all important lawn stripes on medium-sized lawns.

Powered by a reliable and powerful Honda GCVx 170 OHV Autochoke petrol engine and heavy duty, high torque cone clutch transmission to the rear roller. Featuring stepless speed changes from 3 – 4.9km/h and the eight cutting heights combine to ensure any grass situation can be tackled with ease. An extra wide 150mm rear mounted steel roller produces the classic striped finish for a lawn that will make the neighbours green with envy!

The impressive 48cm wide cutting blade makes light work of medium-sized lawns, and the Mountfield Twinclip blade system ensures a superb cut.

The Twinclip blade system has four cutting edges – the first cutting edge reduces the initial length of grass with the second cutting edge reducing the finished length down to the desired height. The fact that the clippings are finer than in other systems results in the collection capacity effectively being increased by 20%. And with the grass bag being a whopping 80-litres, it all means fewer stops so you can get the lawn mowed in record time!

The SP505RV is also immensely durable – its galvanised steel and aluminium chassis sees to that. And when everything is finished, a single click folds the handlebars down to one of three positions to ensure maximum use of shed or garage space.
